On December 5, 2009 thousands of people from all over the world will attempt to make history by breaking the world record for the Largest Santa Gathering at The Las Vegas Great Santa Run. These jolly runners, joggers, walkers and event attendees will make their way through Town Square to raise funds and awareness for Opportunity Village. Opportunity Village is a not-for-profit organization that serves people within our community with intellectual disabilities, to enhance their lives and the lives of their families. With two fully operating campuses and a third under construction, OV provides services such as vocational training, self-help programs, supported employment and job placement assistance for thousands in the Las Vegas valley.
